John is a multi-disciplinary product designer with a background in front end programming with 5 years of design experiences across AI, cryptocurrency, AR&VR platforms and crypto applications. He is fascinated in tackling and building components for scalable design systems, obsessed with pixel perfect UIs, loved breaking down ambiguous problems into smaller segments and energized by collaborating with people from different cross functional domains.
John's strength lies in breaking down complex systems and technical problems with creative frameworks by turning them into delightful and simple experiences. In 2020, he started Quadratic design studio, aiming to help early stage founders to rapidly test out ideas and find product market fit. Over time, this passion grew into a strong online presence, leading to collaborations with top-tier startups such as Sei (30M Series A), Halliday (20M Series A), Doppel (35M Series B), SushiSwap, and Luminai (33M Series B) that are funded by well known top tier VC such as a16z, Sequoia Capital, Multicoin Capital, Bessemer Ventures and South Park Commons.
Most recently, John has led design @Scale AI, designing proprietary ML tools for US government, @Apollo, integrating AI agents into sales workflow and Meta, designing data observability and LLM tools for data engineers and data scientists.
